This site was mainly inspired by Tom McArdle's Log. I had been keeping a log in various notebooks since the summer before heading to MIT, and I had been thinking about putting it on the computer, just to make it look neater and what not. In any event, I started reading McArdle's Log and decided it was a good idea. Putting my log online has made me more passionate about my training, and more responsible about it. If I slack off, everybody knows.

However, I thought I could improve upon McArdle's style, and decided to copy the table style employed by Mr. Jacobson, before he took his training log down. I did make a few simplifications, and reversed the order of entry, so that the most recent run is on top. At times, J's log could get too complicated, that's what I'm trying to avoid. I guess maybe I'm doing a good job, I know at least one guy has pirated my code. Dirty theif. (Honestly though, feel free to steal the code.)

One more note about the code. I write the entire site by hand, in Notepad. Builder.com has a nice series of how-to articles that teach all the HTML you need to know to write a site by hand.

Enjoy!
